Hello and welcome to M J Photography.
On the site you will find examples of the imagery that I create in my camera. From a variety of perspectives I attempt to give a flavour of the world that we all share. You will find images of landscapes, people, events and on the street. You will also find one or two furry friends.
I am a part-time freelance photographer and M J Photography is designed to give expression to the photographs that I make and to hopefully engage with anyone out there who finds them thought-provoking or engaging.
Photographically I have a number of credits to my name. During 2015 & 2016 I have a number of images included in a UK touring exhibition, “My Country”, curated by The Photographic Angle. A number of my images have been featured by The National Trust and The Great Outdoors magazine. I have also been a regular contributor to the independent photo-journalism magazine “Downtown & Driftwood”. I am a member of the Royal Photographic Society and hold an Open University / RPS Certificate in Digital Photography.
I hope you will find something to enjoy here and please feel free to get in touch if you are interested in purchasing any of my work or commissioning me for a project that you have in mind. Maybe you are organising a fundraising event or a party. Perhaps you’d like some portraits of family or friends or maybe you have pets and would like some photographs of them. I am flexible and happy to work with you to produce images that capture the thoughts, emotions and moments in time that you are hoping to preserve.
You can find my full details on the contact page.
